With the integration of Cross Identity, OpenLDAP will be replaced as the primary repository for managing end-user data (User Authentication & Authorization). Cross Identity will manage all user-related data, performing the same functions as OpenLDAP but with enhanced capabilities.
Changes in Integration:
Data Retrieval: The API Manager will interact with Cross Identity to retrieve user data.
API Calls: Instead of querying OpenLDAP, the API Manager will invoke specific APIs provided by Cross Identity to obtain user authentication status, groups, attributes, and authorized applications and these APIs are protected by API keys.
