Cross Identity (CI) introduces the CI MacOS Login solution, offering users two distinct methods to access their MacOS machines seamlessly, ensuring security and convenience. With CI MacOS Login, users can choose between Cross Identity user credentials or Cross Identity Passwordless Authentication, enhancing the user experience while maintaining robust security protocols.

Two Authentication Options:

• Cross Identity User Credentials:

In this authentication method, users can log in to their MacOS machines using their Cross Identity (CI) user credentials. This option mirrors the traditional username and password approach. Users are prompted to provide their CI username and password on the MacOS Login screen. Once authenticated, users gain access to their MacOS environment seamlessly. This method is suitable for users who prefer using their CI account credentials for authentication.

• Cross Identity Passwordless Authentication:

CI takes security and convenience to the next level with Passwordless Authentication. In this cutting-edge approach, users can access their MacOS machine by performing biometric authentication on CIVerifID. Once the user's biometric data is confirmed, access to the MacOS environment is granted. This frictionless method eliminates the need for remembering and entering passwords, streamlining the login process and enhancing overall security.
