Geolocation Settings

Geolocation settings provide contextual-based information to users and allow administrators to manage locations such as cities, states, or countries.

There are two approaches manage, which include:

• Static Approach: If you select Static approach, the admin user can view or edit the pre-filled information GeoIP2 database that is added by default and will be checked for geolocation verification.

• Dynamic Approach: If selected, the admin user can view/edit the following pre-filled information.

Setup geolocation:

1. In the admin portal, go to Advanced > Geolocation Settings.

   

2. Select Static or Dynamic as required.

3. When you select Dynamic, enter the API URL to be connected for verifying the geolocation of the real-time user with MaxMind APIs or any other third-party API.

   

   • The same API request and response structure are made available in the Security > API Details section.
