Extension based Applications

You can view the icons of all the authorized SSO applications including Non-Federated Applications on your Cross Identity Launchpad.

To perform SSO on any web-based application:

1. In the Cross Identity launch pad, click on the Web-based application: LinkedIn.

   Note:

   Here we have taken LinkedIn as an example.

    

2. If you are launching the application for the first time, you must provide the credentials and save. Your credentials will now be saved in Cross Identity's password vault.   

   

   Note:

   If an administrator has selected CI as the value for both the username and password, there will be no requirement for entering login credentials for the application, as they are stored within CI.

   1. Click Launch Application. 

   

   1. The LinkedIn application is launched, and the credentials are automatically updated and displayed. You do not need to enter your credentials when you log in again.

      

   2. The LinkedIn application will open successfully, as displayed on the screen below.
