Cross Identity supports Single Sign-On (SSO).
It provides SSO for the following:
- Federated Web Applications: It supports SSO to applications that use a Federated protocol such as SAML 2.0 protocol. It supports both IdP-initiated and SP-initiated SSO.
It also supports SSO to web applications that do not support Federated protocol and rely on user-entered credentials for authentication.- Non-Federated web applications (extension based)
- Desktop Applications: It offers the unique feature of SSO to Desktop applications such as SAP, Skype, and PuTTY. All applications are accessed through the launch pad.
Our SSO solution also allows organizations to access shared applications to select users without revealing their account credentials. This prevents users from accessing applications without the Cross Identity solution.
