Multi-factor authentication is a security measure designed to step up authentication for signing in, resetting your password, or unlocking your account. This additional security layer helps ensure that only authorized individuals can access the account.
When setting up MFA, you typically can choose from various validation methods to confirm your identity. These options can include:
Email OTP
Passwordless Authentication (Device Registration)
Note:
You will be re-directed to MFA in case of time-out during passwordless authentication.
The passwordless authentication method will not be available as an option for MFA if a user has attempted to log in using passwordless authentication.
