The following figure illustrates the Windows Credential Provider workflow:
Step 1: Press the Ctrl+Alt+ Delete button. Then, click “Forgot Password/Unlock Account” link on the Locked screen.
Step 2: The Windows Credential Provider runs and opens the Cross Identity application window. Based on an administrator's configuration, the user's two-factor authentication takes place in the Cross Identity environment.
Step 3: You can unlock the account or reset the password. The password reset confirmation message is displayed.
