Purpose

This document covers step-by-step instructions and guidelines for the installation, configuration and deployment of Cross Identity on the organizations' premises.

The guide is designed to enable users to deploy the application independently and it ensures that Cross Identity is properly installed, configured and deployed efficiently.

The document contains the following parts:

1. Introduction: An overview of the installation process and the Cross Identity solution.
2. System Requirement: Pre-requisites, hardware and software requirements for successful installation.
3. Architecture: Multi-tier, two-tier diagrams to understand how different servers communicate with each other.
4.  Installation process: A detailed recipe to follow for setting up the application. This includes downloading necessary files, setting up the database, configuring the server environment like RabbitMQ, Java, and server nodes and completing the installation process. 
5.  Configuration: Assist in configuring the application based on needs and use cases. This includes configuring the property files, establishing the connection and verifying the same, customizing security settings, and interacting with other systems.
6.  Activate agent: Instructions to activate the services and make them operational post installation.
7.  Troubleshooting: You can refer to the solution for a set of issues most commonly faced by a user while installing the Cross Identity solution.
